Why develop a hybrid academic identity by utilising digital platforms?

Over a two hour workshop I detail and debate with participants why developing a part-offline part-online hybrid academic identity has its benefits whilst critiquing the drawbacks. The ‘Narrative and Agenda’ highlights the main topics discussed, including utilising digital platforms to articulate one’s identity through to the value such platforms bring for research community, production and dissemination and how this can aid publication and career development goals.
